Pure-Stat™ Technologies Inc. offers a unique class 100 clean flexible film that continues to clean your packaged environment. Our cleanroom meets RIBS.

RIBS (Reactive Intercept Barrier System) is a new permanent ESD and corrosion protective product available in blown film (RIBS Media™ ), metal out static shielding (RIBS Shielding™ and metal out EMI/RFI shielding (RIBS MVTR™ ).

How does RIBS work?

The inside layer of the film is a static dissipative, non-sloughing, polymer and copper membrane that provides 3 functions as a pathway to the carbon and copper for:

electrical charges to flow through the membrane to the conductive layer.

free organic ions to flow through the membrane to be absorbed by the carbon.

free inorganic ions to flow through the membrane and to be reacted and neutralized by the copper.

Pure-Stat™ Technologies' packaging selection is available in film or bags

RIBS Mediaä - Co-extrusion polymer with a conductive carbon outer layer and Intercept Technology™ on the inner layer. Designed for ESD, contamination control, digital / magnetic media and archival applications.

RIBS Shielding - Combining the RIBS Mediaä polymer with a metal out shielding film. The combination provides permanent, humidity independent ESD properties both on the inside of bag and outside. The metal out sheilding structure with charge retention of less than 5 volts and energy CPT test results of less than 5 njoules.

RIBS MVTRä - Combining all of the above, with a heavy metallized PET in a metal-out

construction. The heavy metallized PET provides for improved charge retention, improved CPT Energy Test, and Moisture Barrier Protection.
