Reactive Barrier
Systems
has developed a film which contains permanent
ESD protection with short term anti-corrosion protection that meets the
electrical requirements of MIL-PRF-81705D, Type II entitled Barrier
Material. Flexible, Electrostatic-Free and Heat Sealable. Humidity
independent and non -corrosive. Humidity independent and non-corrosive. When
tested for Fluoride (F), Chloride (Cl),
Sodium (Na), Sulfate (SO4), Nitrate (NO3), and Phosphate (PO4),
these corrosive contaminants were found to be negligible or immeasurable.
Anti-Static
Corrosion Intercept™ is made from a single
layer of non-amine
polyethylene, combined with the properties of Intercept Technology.
Designed for less severe corrosion situations
and short term storage, where corrosion protection, ESD protection and
clarity are required. Longer term storage or more severe shipping and
storage conditions may require the use of the full Static Intercept®
Technology. |
